Has anyone tried the Atkins diet?

South beach is a better version of this and eaiser to stick with, if people actually read DR. atkins book they would understand that it is not all about MEAT and FAT. It is a common misconception, He actually suggests a salad before every meal or with it. Nothing wrong or artery clogging about salad, chicken and veggies. Actually the best dietitians suggest cutting out ALL the processed white stuff as in bread flour pasta and rice. Now that is very Atkins/South-beach PS I lost 30 lbs in almost 2 months on SouthBeach/Atkins and feel great and i have enough energy to workout and take care of my kid and play with her. If you are interested i suggest you look into it by getting a book from the store on one of these diets. Both of these diets are very similar to the one my DR recommended when i had gestational diabetes. So it cant be bad for you and its full of flavor
