Is brink a good game to get for the PS3?

It's underrated, but at the moment the game has some issues that are currently being worked out by Splash Damage. The AI is horrendous and the multiplayer is laggy (both to be fixed in an upcoming patch), the story is almost non-existent and the gameplay is a little hit-or-miss.
