Should we boycott the Olympic Games in Beijing this year?

I'm not sure if the US allies should boycott the games. During the Sovet Union when the U.S and some other 61 countries boycotted the games, the Soviet won 195 medals and 80 gold medals, so the Soviet benefitted the most from this boycott. The athletes who practiced so hard didn't get to play so in a way it was unfair.
