Does this guy like me? What does he want with me?

I've been talking to this guy who is a relationship that is on the rocks with another female but, he keeps calling and texting me multiple times a day and at night. Our conversation is really good and we have great chemistry but I just don't know what his intentions are with me? I am starting to like him and I know he likes me, so I'm not sure what he wants with me. I'm not too sure if I believe in a platonic friendship when two people are attracted to each other. Any clue?.........
