Has anyone ever been or had any strange experiences in NC's Devil's Tramping Ground?

what about Lydia's Bridge? I used to live in Greensboro but I now live in England but NC ghost stories really spook me that I'm going to spend the summer with my grandfather in Lattimore and just travel NC to visit these places. Any word of warnings? Seriously.
