How can i help my friend who has cancer?

she is young in her 20s and i want to get her a gift. she is feeling pretty bad and does'nt leave her house except to go to treatments which i take her when i can i have a young child who cant always sit at the hospital for that long but i asked her if she wanted any movies or magazines or books and she said no. so i made a blanket for her but it is one of those fleece tie blankets and it is summertime and i think she will be too hot especially with the radiation. (its on her neck mostly.) but i really don't know it the radiation makes you hot or not?? i ume it does. anyway if anyone has any better ideas please let me know. Thanks.
