Is my boyfriend avoiding my message?

My boyfriend and i were talking on skype and we had a great time but he seemed annoyed sometimes during our conversation. i wanted to ask him whats wrong and if he had a problem with me or something but i didnt have a chance to and i really want to ask him but i cant call him back bc he will b out of town for a week and i cant wait that long to ask him. i sent a facebook message hoping that he would respond but he hasnt and he normally checks his facebook a lot during the day. He did tell me on skype that he and his family are going to be really busy getting ready to go out of town but his family has been on facebook...do u think he is just avoiding my message?
