Will ghost shrimp make tank smell?

i have 2 danios 1 tetra 1 albino kori carfish and sum other fish and then i added 1 ghost shrimp last week..... and ever since i added him i started noticing that the tank smells very fishy!!! i juss want to know will having ghost shrimp make my aquarium smelly fishy??
